Chiropractic Care & Pain Relief
Chiropractic Care & Pain Relief
Chiropractic wellness is a health care practice and pain relief technique focused on restoring proper spinal motion and nervous system function. There’s a variety of reasons that your back could be aching. Your spine goes through an exorbitant amount of physical activity from normal wear and tear on the body over time, injuries, traumatic accidents, or common mistakes (like not lifting heavy objects with your legs). It’s common for spinal joints to become restricted and inflamed resulting in interference and irritation of nerve roots exiting the spine; this causes chronic pain and other health problems.
A chiropractor is trained to provide gentle manipulation to these spinal joints through massage, instruments, machinery, movement, and physical manipulation. Our chiropractors at Superior Healthcare have the knowledge, training, and experience to not only decrease restrictions and inflammation, but also restore nerve function and spinal motion. We’re going to go into detail about the different chiropractic services our center offers to restore your vivacity. Whether you’re looking for physical spine rehabilitation or any allergy test or something else, we’re here to help!

Our focus is placed on stretching tight muscles, strengthening weakened muscle groups, and overall improvement of cardiovascular function. Spinal therapy can help restore your range of motion and mobility in your spine, helping you overcome years of pain and stress placed on the spinal column. Under the direction of the medical doctor, our therapists will help you achieve your personal optimal level of health and activity with back injury treatment and rehabilitative services.

Cardiac rehabilitation is often necessary after a cardiac event like a heart attack, surgery or a prolonged illness. In addition to exercise counseling and training, our team provides holistic education on heart-healthy living and stress reduction.
Whether you are recovering from a surgery or are suffering from a chronic disease that affects your muscle mass and strength, strength training can be a critical component to improving your long-term quality of life. Strengthening your core or the muscles of a surgical site will not only make you stronger, it will help keep your bones healthy and help you maintain or improve your balance.
Range of Motion Therapy
Our therapists work with you to achieve maximum range of motion after an injury or illness. Range of motion therapy can also be beneficial with some chronic illnesses that impact muscles and connective tissue.
We’ll help teach your nerves and muscles to work together again after a stroke, illness or injury. This can be a long and frustrating process and our very experienced therapists are in it with you for the long haul.
Home Exercise Programs
In addition to the work we do with you at our clinic, we’ll provide you with a comprehensive program to follow at home. Following instructions for activities and exercises between appointments is critical to getting the best results from your rehabilitation program.
We don’t believe in guesswork; we won’t recommend any treatment without having conducted the proper tests.
We know your time is valuable and hearing that what you had planned to be a short appointment has turned into an entire day of running around for tests, is not something anyone wants to deal with. That’s why we provide a variety of state of the art diagnostic testing and lab work available in our office.
- Full Blood Work Up
- Allergy Testing
Allergy testing may include traditional prick tests as well as advanced ALCAT testing which identifies sensitivities and allergies for more than 350 different agents from foods to molds and other chemicals.
Computerized Range Of Motion And Muscle Testing
Our computerized range of motion system accurately measures your spinal range of motion. The level of detail these tests provide enables us to better understand the extent of spinal motion impairment, and to provide a more detailed treatment plan. Computerized muscle testing enables us to track muscle strength losses due to injury and illness and to track improvements over time so we can precisely gauge progress and make sure that your treatment plan is progressing as expected.
Diagnostic Vascular Ultrasounds
Our diagnostic vascular ultrasound enables us to quickly assess any vascular issues including blockages that may be the cause of your symptoms. It quickly eliminates potentially life-threatening vascular issues so that we can quickly move on to finding the source of your symptoms.
When used together, each of our diagnostic strategies provides us with a holistic view of your health and the underlying causes of your symptoms. Thanks to our cutting-edge diagnostic services, our patients aren’t subjected to the kind of frustrating guess work they may be subject to by other healthcare providers.

Did you know that common, everyday problems like migraines, aching joints, fatigue, gastrointestinal disorders, eczema, hyperactivity, ADD, asthma and even obesity have been linked to food sensitivity and chronic activation of the immune system?
The ALCAT Test is a simple blood test that can be used to identify food and other factors that induce innate immune system activity. It measures changes in size and volume of white blood cells in response to ex-vivo challenges with food, chemicals, and other environmental stimuli. The ALCAT Test is more effective than standard immunoglobulin G (IgG) tests because they rely exclusively on one immune pathway: serum levels of IgG. High food specific IgG titers are indicative only of exposure, not necessarily intolerance. Therefore, high frequency of consumption or overexposure may lead to false positives.
ALCAT Tests over 350 different agents—Foods, Food Additives, Medicinal Herbs and Functional Foods, Food Coloring, Molds and Chemicals. Combining this with Lipo Laser makes an incredibly powerful weight loss strategy.
Trigger Point Sarapin Injections
Trigger point injections are part of an innovative therapy designed to address the serious discomfort of the muscles. A trigger point is an area of the muscle that due to injury or strain has bound up creating a point of high pressure.
The muscles are constructed of a large collection of tiny muscle fibers that can cause pain and a tight feeling when they experience extra pressure. This is most often referred to as a “knot” and are commonly found in the neck, back, or other specified muscles system. Knots in a muscle can cause numerous painful problems, including but not limited to…
- reduced flexibility of the spine and neck
- restricted movements
- referred pain (pain experienced in other areas)
- weakness in the muscles
- moderate to severe pain in a specific area
Trigger point injection therapy is designed to address this painful condition. This procedure must be carried out by a trained physician, but only takes a few minutes.
Sarapin (Pitcher Plant) is a medication that will be applied to the sensitive regions. Sarapin is an anti-inflammatory derived from 100 percent natural compounds found in a Pitcher Plant. It is naturally derived medicine and has some specific advantages over the synthetically produced alternative, corticosteroids. Corticosteroids are powerful chemicals that have been associated with many different side-effects including damaging the bone, tendons and cartilage. Meanwhile, the application of sarapin injections have been proven successful in treating the following conditions:
- intercostal neuralgia
- lumbar neuralgia
- occipital neuralgia
- sciatic pain
The sarapin inhibits the pain signals from the nerves of the spine from exiting the spinal column. It has no other effects on any other nerves or motor function of the body.
Spinal Decompression Therapy
Spinal decompression therapy is a medical treatment used to relieve the pain from back injuries, including herniated or bulging discs. Disc injuries, bulges and herniated disc can be relieved using spinal decompression therapy. In addition to relieving pain, spinal decompression therapy heals injured tissues and ligaments in the back and neck. Using cutting edge technologies, we offer a multi-disciplined approach to spinal rehabilitation, using pain management methodologies, spinal therapy and chiropractic care to treat disc injuries. Our techniques not only heal injured discs and back or neck tissues but also helps them regenerate.
Auto Accident Pain Relief
Unfortunately, the chances of you being in a car accident at some point in you life are higher than anyone would like to admit. Most of the time these accidents are not serious and usually don’t require hospitalization for an injury of pain. It is important to take each car accident seriously, even if you think you are fine when you initially get out of the vehicle.
Many people feel fine in the aftermath of an accident. However, these same individuals actually have injuries; they just don’t know it yet because their body’s natural adrenaline hasn’t worn off. In many cases, even if they went to the doctor to be checked out, they would not be diagnosed with anything at first. Injuries can show up days, weeks, and even years later.
These symptoms can present as something simple such as a headache or as something more serious like whiplash. If you were involved in an automobile accident, and you are concerned about any symptomatic pain that you are experiencing, come into our chiropractic health center. We offer a no cost, no obligation consultation to best serve your needs.
Scoliosis is a condition which causes an abnormal curvature of the spine. If you didn’t know, the spine has a normal curve when you see it from the side, however, it should stack in a straight line when looking at it from the front.
Kyphosis is when the spine is abnormally curved in a convex manner more than average. It is normal to have a kyphosis in the mid area of the spine or the thoracic region. Lordosis is the name for a spine that is bent backward. This can also be normal to a degree. However, those who have scoliosis have an additional curvature to the side of the body and thus the spine makes an “S” or a “C” shape when viewed facing someone.
This “S” or “C” shape is twice as common in girls as boys. It may appear at any age, however, it typically will present itself at around the age of 10. Abnormal curvature of the spine is the noticeable symptom and is often the first change that family and friends notice. A curvature change happens slowly over the course of time so it may appear as though it has crept up on a person.
That is why more children are being routinely screened for the condition. How will you notice if a spine is curving unnaturally?
- Clothing will begin to fit oddly or unevenly
- Pants legs may appear to be longer on one side of the body
- The head may appear to be off center of the rest of the body
- The head may lean slightly to one side
- A hip or shoulder may be higher on one side than the other
- The ribs may have more of a curve on one side, this is due to the twist of the vertebrae
In most cases, scoliosis is not overly painful however, there are some severe forms that can cause pain in the ribs, back, neck, and abdomen. It can also create muscle spasms and other forms of pain. At Superior Healthcare, physical medicine professionals have been able to successfully treat patients with scoliosis through pain management and relieving the curves with special techniques that will help you regain flexibility, strength, and mobilization of your spine.

Regenerative Medicine Pain Treatment
Regenerative medicine is an advancing field of study with the idea that stem cells can help heal and repair injured sites of the human body. What does this mean?
Stem cells are undifferentiated cells. This makes them different because they’ve yet to be assigned a job in the body. Regenerative medicine is the practice of injecting stem cells into a skeletal or musculoskeletal injured area and letting the cells naturally heal the injury. Another form of regenerative medicine is to inject the injured area with a dosage of platelets, a part of your blood known for rapidly healing and repairing.
